The Comparison Trap

Comparison is a natural part of human cognition. It’s a tool our 🧠 uses to aid in the self-improvement process.

However, when we take it too far it can lead us down a road of unhappiness and low self-esteem. I don’t know about you all, but I imagine that like me, you just don’t have time for that.

Some of my favorite steps to get out of that comparison trap…

✨Focus on your strengths
✨Make a list of things you are grateful for
✨Use comparison as a motivator
✨Celebrate others
✨Go on a HIKE, I am convinced it cures everything.
